Salient Designs builds tools in-house allowing us to provide you with high quality at reasonable prices.

By manufacturing our tools in-house, we are able to design the value added engineering aspects into our tooling that affect efficiency and quality in production.  Low tooling costs is one of the attractive features of vacuum forming.

Through math data, provided by your company, Salient Designs is able to quickly turn this information into a pattern.  What would normally take weeks or months to create, a pattern can now be accomplished in hours or in a few days.  With this type of pattern, Salient Designs is able to maximize your product's ability to make it to the market in a shorter time frame, thus maximizing its ability to sell while the demand is high.

Salient Designs uses an epoxy / aluminum style hard tool which allows for thousands of parts to be pulled with extremely low maintenance.  The epoxy liquid is poured into a cast mold, and aluminum shavings are added at a ratio of 2:1, thus creating a hard tool.
