Salient Designs Inc. was originally established in 1999 as a thermoforming company.  Due to many requests from several electronic suppliers and manufacturers, Salient Designs diversified into a mobile video overhead and lower console manufacturer for many styles of LCD's, DVD's, and VCP's.
